Data Literacy: Principles of Finding and Citing Data Online
There are many publicly available data sources on the internet, including those maintained by government agencies or non-profit groups. Instead of cycling through lists of data portals, sites, and sources, the more you know about the data you are looking for the easier searching will be.
This webinar will provide an overview of online resources for locating research datasets, data repositories, and data publications for data sharing and re-use. We will also discuss key issues to consider when re-using datasets and principles for citing datasets in your work.
