Scientific Research Data Management: Concepts, Tools, and Strategies In-Person
What: Learn recommended practices for managing research data including backup procedures, tips on effective file names, data documentation, and data sharing strategies.
Why: Research Data Management (RDM) is essential for responsible research, can increase the pace of research, contribute to the transparency of research results, and meet funding agency requirements.
How: This is a free 1 hour hands-on workshop. This session will discuss data management at a general level, but will provide examples from science, technology, engineering, and related fields.
Where: Cabot Library, Instruction Room LL-03. [Also offered online and in-person at Countway Library.]
Who: This seminar is open to all Harvard affiliates from all disciplines (with an HUID).
