Improving Research Documentation and Reproducibility with the Digital Notebook RSpace Online
What: Join us to learn about RSpace, a discipline-agnostic, web-based Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) that helps researchers create, organize, and manage research documentation and data in a secure, centralized digital environment.
Why: Good research documentation is the backbone of successful science supporting collaboration, reproducibility, continuity, and compliance. RSpace is designed with university researchers in mind, integrating seamlessly with tools you already use, including storage solutions, laboratory inventory systems, Jupyter Notebook, Harvard Dataverse, protocols.io, and more.
How: In this free one-hour virtual workshop, you will:
- Explore an overview and live demo of RSpace and ELN support at Harvard
- Discover key features, considerations, and how RSpace fits your lab's needs
- Get your questions about the platform answered in real time
Where: Online via Zoom (link provided upon registration). This webinar will not be recorded.
Who: This seminar is open to Harvard faculty, research staff, postdoctoral researchers, and students from all disciplines. While content will focus on Harvard’s Institutional RSpace license and support, participants from other institutions may find the concepts of digital note-taking useful.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites or assumptions of knowledge. However the free Harvard RSpace ELN service is only provided to labs, cores and researchers that assign their IP to Harvard with the approval of their PI.
Instructors: Ehsan Moghadam, Data Services Librarian for the Sciences, Harvard Library
