Capoeira Workshop: Wellbeing Through Art x Countway Cares In-Person

In-person only

Join us for an exhilarating Capoeira workshop at Countway Library! This event invites all Harvard Longwood Campus faculty, staff, post docs, and students to experience the vibrant world of Capoeira—a unique Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music.

What to Expect:

  • Engage in a dynamic and interactive session led by an experienced Capoeira instructor
  • Learn the basic movements that define Capoeira, promoting flexibility, balance, and agility
  • Come away with a full sequence of movements at the end of the workshop that you can practice at home
  • No prior experience is necessary; this workshop is tailored for beginners of all fitness levels

Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended. Bottled water will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring an open mind ready for a unique and invigorating experience. Join us for an hour of fun, fitness, and cultural exploration on March 26th!

This event is part of the Wellbeing Through Art workshop series and is sponsored by Countway Library.
