Cite it Right! Footnotes, Endnotes, and Manuscript Preparation In-Person
Plagiarism has more than one flavor and can happen unintentionally if one is not careful. We will discuss how to avoid this serious problem by recognizing what triggers it. This workshop will focus on avoiding problems that can arise when writers do not cite their sources properly.
We will highlight some tools that can help promote good note-taking skills and manage the citations you will need to keep track of during the writing process. Integrating your original ideas with information you will discover in the many research papers you consult MUST also include good citation management.
