Presentation Skills Workshop - Minimalist Style: Less is More In-Person
You don't always need all the bells and whistles incorporated into your presentation. Sometimes less is definitely more, and it's good to embrace a minimalist and straightforward presentation style.
In this session, come check out what makes a minimalist presentation, and how this presentation can be just as - if not sometimes more - effective in presenting your research.
This workshop is for current students, postdocs, and research fellows who would like to improve their oral presentation and communication skills.
Preparation is key, but practice is absolutely essential in helping you to deliver an impactful, confident, and engaging presentation. Non-native speakers of English are especially encouraged to attend.
This class will review some of the important techniques that will help you prepare for, and execute, a public speech for any occasion.
No two workshops are ever the same!
