Presentation Skills Workshop - Conference Presentation/Q&A

Presentation Skills Workshop - Conference Presentation/Q&A In-Person

Presenting our research and getting our audiences excited about our results is a big part of being a researcher. And whether it is a panel, lightning talk, or poster, the conference is the main venue for our presentations.

Over the course of this semester, each workshop has focused on a different element to help grow your confidence in presenting your research. For our last session, bring any lingering questions you may have as we review the main points of a conference presentation.

This workshop is for current students, postdocs, and research fellows who would like to improve their oral presentation and communication skills.

Preparation is key, but practice is absolutely essential in helping you to deliver an impactful, confident, and engaging presentation. Non-native speakers of English are especially encouraged to attend.

This class will review some of the important techniques that will help you prepare for, and execute, a public speech for any occasion.

No two workshops are ever the same!
