Research Management: Project and Lab Onboarding Online
What: Learn important steps for onboarding new employees or trainees to a lab or new project, focusing on data planning and organization.
Why: Research Data Management (RDM) is essential for project consistency and should be introduced when starting a new project or joining a new lab.
How: This is a free 1.5-hour online workshop, consisting of lecture, interactive poll questions, and discussion. We will introduce the RDM Onboarding Checklist tailored for Harvard researchers and how to incorporate onboarding steps within your individual project or lab environment. The webinar recording will be shared with all who register.
Where: Online via Zoom (link provided upon registration).
Who: This seminar is open to faculty, research staff, postdoctoral researchers, and students from all disciplines. There are no prerequisites or assumptions of knowledge. Online webinars are open to the public research community.
