Research Management: Offboarding for Research Projects at Harvard In-Person

What: Join us for an informative session on the important steps for the offboarding process from a Harvard lab or project.

Why: When employees leave, they take their skills and institutional knowledge with them. It is important to record essential informative information related to projects and datasets to ensure the success of future collaborators.

How: This is a free 1.5-hour in-person workshop, consisting of lecture, reflection, and discussion. We will introduce the RDM Offboarding Checklist tailored for Harvard researchers and how to incorporate offboarding steps within your individual project or lab environment. This live class will not be recorded.

Where: Classrooms 102 & 103 on the First Floor of Countway Library.

Who: This seminar is open to faculty, research staff, postdoctoral researchers, and students from all disciplines. In-person workshops are open to Harvard University ID holders, or with approval from the instructor.

Instructors:

  • Julie Goldman, BS, MLIS, Research Data Services Librarian, Countway Library
