Better Research VI: Data Sharing with Harvard Dataverse In-Person
What: Come learn about the Harvard Dataverse for data sharing and preservation, and explore how the repository can support your research project and data sharing needs.
Why: Publishing research data within a trusted repository helps you comply with funder and journal data sharing policies, supports the discovery of and access to FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable) data, and can result in more visibility and higher impact for research projects.
How: This is a free 1.5-hour in-person workshop, consisting of lecture, demonstrations, and discussion. Participants will gain an understanding of the Harvard Dataverse repository, and which features may be relevant for their discipline, data type, or funder requirements. This live class will not be recorded.
Where: Lamont Library B30 Collaborative Learning Space.
Who: This seminar is open to Harvard faculty, research staff, postdoctoral researchers, and students from all disciplines. There are no prerequisites or assumptions of knowledge. In-person workshops are open to Harvard University ID holders only.
Instructor: Katie Mika, MA, MLIS, Data Services Librarian, Harvard Library
