Finding Evidence: Asking Better Research Questions In-Person

In this interactive, in-person workshop, attendees will learn how to develop a research topic into a well-defined, searchable question. Attendees are encouraged to bring a research topic and a device (laptop or tablet) for hands-on practice. This class will introduce question frameworks and demonstrate how to map those questions to relevant databases. The workshop will conclude with attendees working on their own topics with support from two Research and Instruction Librarians.

This session is part of the Finding Evidence class series. You may attend this class on its own or as part of the full series. A common search scenario will be used throughout all four classes.

This workshop is open to HUID holders only and will take place at Countway Library. Space is limited—registration is required.
