Finding Evidence: Searching Embase In-Person

Embase is a subscription based biomedical and pharmacological database with strong coverage of drug and medical device content. This class will briefly review basics to database searching with Boolean operators. Patrons will then learn to navigate Embase, using database specific field tags, controlled vocabulary (Emtree) terms, wild cards, and proximity operators.

This is a continuation of the Finding Evidence class series. You can attend this class alone or attend the classes as a series. There will be a common search scenario that will be used through all four classes.
