Presentation Skills Workshop - Poster Presentation / Design & Delivery In-Person
Posters are a great, concise method to present your research. It forces you to focus on the highlights and share the most captivating bits. Of course, that means that your poster presentation must also be brief and to-the-point. In this session we are going to explore some guidelines and considerations for creating either digital or print based research posters and maintaining an impactful professional presentation.
This workshop is for current students, postdocs, and research fellows who would like to improve their oral presentation & communication skills.
Preparation is key, but practice is absolutely essential in helping you to deliver an impactful, confident, and engaging presentation. Non-native speakers of English are especially encouraged to attend.
This class will review some of the important techniques that will help you prepare for, and execute, a public speech for any occasion.
No two workshops are ever the same!
