Publishing Your Research: Considerations and Options Online
This session will provide guidance in selecting the best scholarly journal to reach your intended audience, and ensure that your published research generates high impact.
We will review how to ensure you retain important rights to your scholarship in "Article/Publisher Transfer Agreements", and how this may impact your ability to share your article more broadly in future.
Most importantly, we will look at ways to avoid falling victim to "publishing scams" and (so called) “predatory publishers,” and help you to identify trusted publishers/journals that are worthy of your research efforts.
