Art Opening and Portrait Unveiling: Belonging Beyond the Diagnosis In-Person
This art exhibit, located on the first floor of the library, features nearly 40 portraits of children living with life-altering diseases, painted by artists from all over the world. The portraits are on loan from Beyond the Diagnosis, a nonprofit organization which unites art and science to raise awareness for children living with life-altering diseases. We are honored to be able to share this selection of pieces during February, which is Rare Disease Month. This exhibit is co-sponsored by the Undiagnosed Diseases Network.
We invite the Harvard ID community to visit the exhibit anytime the library building is open. Members of the public are welcome to visit the exhibit on Saturdays and Sundays during our public access hours. Email us with any questions about the exhibit.
