SUMMARY:Countway Cuddles: Pet Therapy with Archie
DESCRIPTION:Come say hello to Archie!\n\n“Archie is a five year old black
labrador retriever. He was born in Patterson\, NY at The Guiding Eyes for
the Blind\, an organization that provides guide dogs to individuals with
vision loss. He was a smart\, curious and attentive newborn puppy\, but it
was determined early on that he should be a “career changer” and placed
in a loving home where he can thrive as an active\, fun and adoring member
of a family. So\, in June of 2020\, in the beginning days of the Covid -19
pandemic\, he bounded into the Brookline home of the Mulder-McCormack’s.
He quickly established himself as a devoted companion to his mom\, dad and
two older brothers. He definitely doesn’t like to miss out on any family
activities.\n\n\n\nArchie likes to have fun and is always looking for an
opportunity to play with canine and human companions. Favorite activities
include playing chase\, tug and keep away. Oddly\, for his breed\, he
doesn’t really like to retrieve. Equally of interest\, is food. Meal
times are an eagerly anticipated and a cherished part of his day. Though\,
he’s not one to linger over his bowl with remarkable efficiency in
completing a meal well under thirty seconds.\n\n\n\nHis loving nature and
calm demeanor have allowed Archie to find his true calling - as a therapy
dog. He looks forward to meeting all of you.”\n
