Making Meaning: Zines, Gender, and Health In-Person

This event brings together students, educators, and community members to explore zines as a tool for gender health liberation and justice.
Drawing from student work in Dr. Ariel Beccia’s Fall 1 course Gender and Health: Introductory Perspectives (WGH 211), this workshop showcases zines as a pedagogical tool for engaging gender and health. Student presenters will share their zines and discuss how creative methods helped them reflect on health, identity, and power. The event will include a collaborative zine-making session. Student zines will also be exhibited at Countway Library from February 17 to March 24.
