Opening Doors: A conversation with Dr. Joseph B. Martin In-Person

Dr. Joseph B. Martin, the Edward R. and Anne G. Lefler Professor of Neurobiology, has been a visionary leader in academic medicine for over five decades, serving as Dean of Harvard Medical School from 1997 to 2007. From his pioneering research on neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, to his leadership shaping the institutions of UCSF and Harvard Medical School, Dr. Martin’s career has forged new paths in neuroscience, education, and scientific collaboration.

Join us for a conversation – moderated by Dr. Frederick Lovejoy – to hear about Dr. Martin’s remarkable journey, his impact on the world of medicine and science, and his advice for those charting their own paths in the biomedical sciences and medicine.
