Practical AI Use Cases for Medical Librarians

Countway Library is pleased to announce that three of its staff members will be presenting as part of the upcoming Friends of the National Library of Medicine (FNLM)  Webinar Showcase, Practical AI Use Cases for Medical Librarians.

Poster for the webinar Practical AI Use Cases for Medical LibrariansThis webinar brings together library and information professionals to learn from each other about the use of AI tools through practical demonstrations. Expert speakers will be demonstrating the ways they have incorporated AI tools into their workflows for a range of AI use cases, including: Administrative, Data Management, Information Literacy, Research Support, Archival Description, and Chatbot Creation.

MJ Grein, Administrative Operations Lead, will present on AI tools for executive assistants in medical libraries.

Charlotte Lellman, Collections Services Archivist, and Rebecca Thayer, Processing Archivist, Center for the History of Medicine, will present on Leveraging AI to Reuse Legacy Archival Description.

There will be two Q&A sessions after the video presentations.
