Getting Started with the Open Science Framework (OSF)

Getting Started with the Open Science Framework (OSF) In-Person

This workshop is part of Open Access Week 2019 sponsored by the Countway Library

There are many actions researchers can take to increase the openness and reproducibility of their work.

OSF is a free and open source project management tool that supports researchers throughout their entire project lifecycle. The tool connects to many other tools researchers often use such as: GitHub, Dropbox, ORCID, Zotero, Dataverse, and many more.

Come learn more about OSF, and see how your colleagues at Harvard are already using it.

This workshop will provide a foundation for incorporating reproducible, transparent practices into your current workflows by creating a reproducible project from start to finish, and designing appropriate open workflows for different use cases.

The workshop will be hands-on and is aimed at graduate students, postdocs, and faculty across disciplines. No knowledge of programming or other specialized tools is required. Participants should bring their own laptop in order to participate.
