Database Searching: Tips and Tricks with a Focus on Dental Medicine Resources In-Person
This live demonstration class will provide basic information as well as some expert tips and tricks about searching biomedical databases for relevant citations. We will start with learning how to find databases in HOLLIS, Harvard Library's catalog. Databases covered will include PubMed, Embase, and Dentistry and Oral Sciences Source and others, time permitting. While the databases and search examples will be focused on dental medicine, guidance on searching and functionality of databases will be translatable to other topics.
