Countway Cinema: Aftershock
Countway Library in collaboration with Harvard Medical Schools Arts & Humanities Initiative invite you to join us for a screening of Aftershock and a post-screening panel discussion.
Aftershock, a Sundance-award winning film that follows two families as they galvanize activists, birth-workers and physicians to reckon with one of the most pressing American crises of our time – the U.S. maternal health crisis.
Systemic racism is a public health crisis, and we need to seize this moment to open people’s eyes to health disparity and champion real change in our country.
You have 2 ways to view this movie... You can
- Watch the movie on your own time if you have access to Hulu
- Watch the movie via Zoom as a larger group on 11/14 at 5:00pm
Once the movie is finished, we will begin a post-screening discussion in the same Zoom room used for screening.
