SUMMARY:Review Ready: Introduction to Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis
DESCRIPTION:This class provides investigators of all levels an introduction
to the principles and process of systematic reviews. Participants will
explore when and why systematic reviews are used\, consider key elements of
planning and organizing a review\, and become familiar with the main steps
involved\, such as formulating research questions\, identifying
literature\, screening studies\, synthesizing data\, and reporting results.
The class also addresses common challenges\, including methodological
missteps and reporting issues\, while highlighting available research
support services. By the end of the session\, attendees should have a
clearer understanding of the review process. This class is well suited for
those seeking a practical overview of systematic reviews and guidance on
current best practices in evidence synthesis.
