SUMMARY:Analysis of MicroRNA Expression and Function by a Variety of Techniques
DESCRIPTION:MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are post-transcriptional regulators that
silence gene expression by binding mainly to untranslated regions in the 3'
end of the target messenger RNA transcripts. This session will be useful
for any researcher who wants to investigate miRNA's in detail. Topics
covered include basic techniques for miRNA isolation\, expression profiling
and validation\, as well as their functional analysis in mammalian cells.
